Paraskevidekatriaphobia

*playing Nothing In This World - Paris Hilton

The fear of Friday The 13th. I thought it will be an interesting title since today is Friday the 13th. Oh well just a trivia for today.

It has been a hetic 2 weeks for me. Rushing 3 assignments stretching 9 days from the 1st due date to the last. Along with my dear sister birthday on the 10th. Which well explains the absence of my blogging. Spending almost every free time in school to do assignments together with fellow course mates. It finally ended on the 11th midnight with supper at the food centre opposite the national library.

So from yesterday onwards till this weekend will be declared as my relax days! Next week have to start on revision on my upcoming exams since 2 years ago. Oh and did I tell you that technically speaking today was my last day serving the nation. Because SAF goes my 5 day weeks and I ORD on monday so that means today was my last working day. WOOHOO!
I really can't wait to see myself in my IC come monday.

Went to check out Vivocity and OMGoodness, it is big! So many shops that hasn't open. But there are crowds there already. I counted at least 10 lift lobbies. It may be only 3 storeys minus the basements but I tell you, Every storey can be used as hide and seek pastime man! I shall suggest to my friends when we are bored. Let's relive the days of police and thief! One level of the shopping mall is enough to kill you. The whole vivocity? I think can play for at least a day.

Check out Innovanation today with Benjamin as well. Learn a lot of new things on how technology has changed Singapore as well as my life. The exhibition is still on until this weekend. Do go check it out. IT Savvy or not.

jh out!~

p.s : Miami Vice is quite a violent show. It's high class undercover I call it. 3.1 out of 5 undercovers from me.
p.p.s : You Me & Dupree hilarious as often but somehow still fails in some way. I guess it's probably due to it's similarity to Click in some ways. Or maybe I just can't get Scoop out of my head! 2.9 Duprees out of 5
p.p.p.s : Scoop is an excellent british comedy with murder involved. Scarlett Johannsson is oh so gorgeous in that geeky bespectacled look. Woody allen display a wonderful performance as a magician and makes clever one-liners enough to keep you laughing on your way out. Definitely recommended. 4.1 out of 5 Scarletts
p.p.p.p.s : Hollywood's version of Hongkong's popular Infernal Affairs, The Departed debuts this week. Running 154 minutes long. Some of the people might be turned of from hearing stories that it is a rip off but I assured you all that the director has changed a few scenarios and it can claim to be inspired by Infernal Affairs. One thing is for sure, there won't be sequels. I.Think. The Departed is Martin Scorsee version with the bad finally punished in the end whereas HK version requires a trilogy. 3.9 out of 5 The dearly departed.

Not boring not exciting, not lazy not hardworking, not handsome not ugly, not short not thin, not a bad guy not quite mommy's boy either. Regular Singaporean guy who like most guys probably get several different colours of the same shirt, t-shirt, berms, jeans once they fall in love with a particular design. Been through the era of cassette tapes of walkmans to discmans(remember the anti-shock technology) as well as MiniDisc(coming out at a bad time) which obviously lost to the emergence of mp3s and the CD to LD which saw LD losing out to VCDs. Next came the DVDs which 0wned the vcds and try to act smart by having 2 groups, HD DVD and Blu Ray. 2 words BLU.RAY. Loves to reminisce the old days when A&W rootbear float was still around and KFC was still a restaurant complete with waiters serving you Kentucky Fried Chicken. The days where bus fares were 10 cents for students and pizza hut's lunch buffets. Moves/dances to the jumpy music of Ipod Ads and likes to laugh at the Hello I'm a Mac, Hello I'm a PC advertisements!
