Pleased with the weekend!

Spent saturday at my friend, Weihong's place. Had 1 round of mahjong which started ard 4.15pm and ended at 8pm... hello... abit long rite... all thanks to 2 players, one tried to prove he can multi task by singing KTV and playing mahjong and weihong was just plain bored because no one seems to want to go Elevation 245 with him.

Anyway it was kinda like a small gathering there. Next, after dinner, Guan wen was kind enough to drop me off at my friend's place before the rest of my Primary schoolmates go off to Mount Faber(how was it ar?) The plan was to chit chat at my friend's place. But at around 10.50pm... we ended up playing mahjong. Played till morning 8am. taking a bus home, I reach at 9am and quickly had a quick shower and fall asleep.

Woke up at 7pm and went to buy my dinner(first meal of the day), hor fun. Managed to catch Darren Lim and Evelyn Tan's Wedding on Channel U. Woah. Evelyn Tan is pretty. Btw, I met both of them at my cousin's place celebrating my niece's 1 year old.

The typical bridemaids' demands of $ and performance by the groom and his best man was probably the highlight of the wedding process.

Ladies if you are not interested in soccer you can skip this part.

Anyway, surf net for news soccer action until 11pm when the big match or EPL begins. ARSENAL VS MAN UTD. The score ended in 1-1 with arsenal dominating the midfield. I felt Giggs was unlucky for not getting a penalty, Sholes having an off day and Nistelrooy runswere just well matched by Toure & Lehman. Courtesy of Saha's equaliser, Man Utd Fans and Ferguson could lift their heads high up. Because on a match like this where arsenal's attacking was too much too handled, I was thankful of Caroll's heroics and one of the possibly best performance from Wes Brown so far since Ferdinand got banned. Arsenal clearly was sitting on their lead at the 80th minute onwards and we really punished them. What came in the dying seconds was a missed oppurtunity by both a bullet header from nistelrooy straight to the keeper. and Henry heading wide off an open goal. Oh yeah, Henry lost his cool in this match as he had break the offside rule and set Lauren up but Lauren took a bit of hesitation before shooting when Henry was unmark. The ball of course rebounded of caroll to henry whom promptly headed it... WIDE. He was cleary pissed with Lauren. Eyewitnesses report later claim that after the final whistle Henry was pissed with Lauren. Even though Man utd was both unlucky and lucky to escape with a draw. We showed our desire to kill arsenal's unbeaten record. And after the late Equaliser. Arsenal was clearly shocked. Next stop, Bring on the FA CUP final this coming saturday!

Ladies Soccer talk has finished!

Well after the match I went to bed, but I guess I couldn't sleep due to my biological clock being screwed up. Only fell asleep after laying on the bed for like 1 hour meaning I was left with 4 hours of sleep before getting up for work.

Thankfully, i woke up monday feeling fresh despite 4 hours of sleep. After work, went Aikido and after training still freshed! After reaching home and having campbell's soup for dinner while I write this blog... Alrighty, I guess my biological clock is back on track...

Better Day Tomorrow?

Last night was considered a bad night. My plans for today was suddenly thrown into limbo. And I was kinda angry in a way because just when I thought it was all going well. Friends whom I have offended in one way or another yesternight please forgive me.Now I guess being born in the star sign of CANCER i seriously worry too much. But accompanied by my numerology of a 3 which also means being an optimistic person.I guess it kinda balances up a bit. And as like what I said a miracle did happen this morning... plans are back into action with some changes which kinda fits everybody!My best friend, Benjamin even dropped me a msg of "there will be better day" early in the morning and perhaps the better day actually happened. It's reassuring in the sense that I was about to lose faith in my beliefs of a better tomorrow since I went to sleep last night and it's really nice to see a msg like that even though he had no clue about last night. Looking forward to every better tomorrow!~

Mid-Term Presentation!

Had my FYP mid Term Presentation today. All was well considering my accessors gave me and my partner good remarks. Now presentation has always been ok for me.(It's only the usual fearing i had forgotten some materials and all)Basically, i am always well-prepared except for one time which I had pair up with a person nicknamed "louhan"(given by a classmate of mine). Basically we were supposed to present our stuff to a lecturer whom I shall always remembered as a person who pronounce download as nowload. Anyway she convinced me, that she would do her part properly last minute but it did not happen... and thus I was not prepared.Now now, I am going out of point. The thing is Nigel(my partner) and I seriously feels that our accessors have no clue what our FYP is about and they wouldn't be able to check because we are doing our FYP is done at an industrial company. Not to mention one of them keeps yawning away.Nonetheless, I guess they were convinced we know what our project is about and we are actually working on it.

After presentation, I had nothing on and was about to follow nigel to AMK interchange to take bus when I met Kae Kang my classmate from Poly. He was on his way to meet 2 of my other friends, Yaohui and Chingyong. I decided to join them because I had not seen them since last December.(sorry nigel for pangseh u!) Anyway it was good old times like our poly year 1s & 2s breaks. We chatted for about 2hrs talking from rubbish to taiwan to rubbish again. Haha, it was great really to see them again, espeicially with Poly Days ending and Ns Days coming.

After that, I made my way to NTUC near my house and got some vegetables to cook with my Fish Ball Mee Sua Soup. FYI, YES I know how to cook a proper meal. Rest of the day was spend watching TV and blogging. Overall, not that bad a day considering I had a good presentation and met up with my poly classmates!

Sick...

Yes, you guys heard me right, I am sick officially. Got Medical leave of work on Monday. Actually I have been sick since Friday but I thought I could get it over thru the sea cocunut cough mixture. Anyway, fact is I still felt sick.

Went to one of my primary school friend's house, it is another post birthday celebration gathering for one of us. Funny thing is my friend who invited us to his place wasn't at home. He had told his grandma to open the door for us. His parents are at Bangkok. How nice to have such a friend who invite friends over to his place and he's not even home to be host haha. It's like loaning his chalet to us or something. We were allowed to use any stuff from his 3 fridges and cook ourselves as his maid was out. And so we created a mess. Because we Primary schoolmates had not really played mahjongtogether before and my friend's place don't happen to have any. Our friend who was on his way back ask one of us to buy the table and mahjong set @ $38 (table) and $45 (mahjong set), as he thought that he should have a set at home. It was fantastic. At about 3am in the morning, my friend who belongs to the millitary intelligence department finally could book out since being at Tekong since Thursday evening. Guess what is the reward that they get? A day off. How lame and asking the people to book out at 2am without giving them cab fare resulting to most of the people staying in camp. Besides my friend normal working days is 8-5 lohz and saturday is half day only, friend was at tekong from Thursday evening till Sunday Evening and all he got was 1 day off. Wow should he really thank the government or the 3 stupid robbers who by the way had no idea that Tekong was a Singapore military island for that one day off? Anywho since we are quite free and bored, we went to fetch him over straight. On the way back, bought some supper for the girls back in the house den after supper went back straight to mahjong. We play $0.10 only played till 6am before we decided it was time to go home to rest. FYI, I lost $1.60.

Managed to reach home at 7am and had a quick shower before sleeping. Had a good catching up with Zhou Gong from dreamland before waking up to realise it was near 3pm. I then had a light lunch before heading to the clinic to get my common cold medicine and of course an M/C. Anyway went back home to watch Love is Beautiful last episode on Channel U @ 7pm. That show made me realise something. Would probably talk about it under Shoutout soon... Went on to surf net until now before i started blogging. Oh yeah thanks to clarence who linked me up saying that my News is better than my Blog. I take it as a compliment then because Blogging is really like my diary and actually I kinda find my life quite boring and uninteresting nowadays probably due to the fact that I need to go NS soon but yes life seriously doesn't seem to be of interest anymore. My only interest now is to enjoy all the time I can with my friends. Besides I like talking about current affairs, entertainment or not because I love all these compare to uninteresting life blogging.

Would probably try to see how can I make my blog more interesting than my news or Shoutout as it has now been renamed. Oh yeah, hooray! I've decided to join my friends in poly at Redang in May after much comtemplating. Really looking forward to it guys!~

Argh!~

Alright now, this kinda sucks, wasn't really feeling that good at work today. Having a bad sore throat. The only good part that happen to me was sum up as one word, VIDEOS. Yes, I watch an Episode of Charmed and watch the show Honey. Needless to say, I am definitely a big fan of Charmed, right up to date with what they are showing in US(drools for more charmed but then again Season 6 in US is ending soon). Anyhow, HONEY is a good show for those who enjoyed great dance moves and it features a lot of MTV stars such as Gineuwine, Missy Eiliot, Lil' romeo & many others. Next upcoming dance show? You Got Served!

Now back to why the title being ARGHZ... well originally it was planned way beforehand that today was one of my Primary schoolmate's birthday So our gang of primary schoolmates kinda lied to her that we meeting her tomorrow whilst one of us arrange to meet her today for dinner. The rest of us was to surprise her at the restaurant they were heading. Surprising her is the main thing, but our secondary objective was to hang out and because we are meeting at like 8+pm, Cars were desperately needed. Now usually when my p.schoolmates meet up there will be 2 cars but due to one of them being put on duty to look for 3 robbers in Pulau Tekong which I just visited on 17th Mar 2004(apparently the robbers arrived on 18th Mar 2004). Talk about perfect timing, just in time for Msian Polls, anyway with one car down our group of 8(a few others couldn't come) can't go anywhere. So after dinner we basically sat and chat a while before we split to head home.

Speaking of Pulau Tekong, from the moment I heard that SAF had sent in troops to search for them, I expected them to be caught within a night. But NO! It was only until this evening that one of the robbers was caught supposedly fitting the description of what the Msian counterparts has given. The important point here is, if they send 700 pple for just 3 person. Wouldn't searching for 300 would be terrorist require 70000?

Anyway even stupid sore throat make me seems so quiet during our celebration just now. Damm, I really hope it gets better soon.

Welcome!~

This blog was finally created since blogging started like a year plus already. Always wanted to do a flash version but i guess i sux0rs in flash. Therefore have to make do with this design.

Basically, I just thought of trying my hands on blogging, hopefully it doesn't dissapoint. Kudos to Nigel for hosting me and many thanks to Weiliang for helping me with this. Now I have a lot of nicks that I lurve, e.g. My ICQ and MSN nick is SnowiLinBenoki while my IRC nick is either that or G0dSpeed.

You must be wondering why I have so much nicks well basically when I first started out in Lan Gaming, I used the nick snowblower. In case some of you might not know, snowblower is a chinese comic book character. Well, it gradually evolve into alot of different ways of displaying the nick. If I can recall correctly, it was snowblower, Snowblower, SnowBlower, SnowBloweR, Sn0wbl0wer, Sn0wBl0wer, Sn0wBl0weR, SNOWBLOWER, Sn0wB\0weR. Oh right! Finally it came to a point where i can't think of anyway else to evolve (evolution was a hit then because of X-Men) that nick. That last version, Sn0wB\0weR stuck with me for quite a while until i began watching star wars and was in awe of Young Obi Wan Kenobi and all the weird Jedi names. I decided to changed mine nick so that it sounds somewhat like Master Kenobi. So using my surname as a middle name, I cut short my nick to snowi and jumbling up Master Kenobi's name into Benoki and i came up with Snowi Lin Benoki. Later on, I took away the spaces and voila, SnowiLinBenoki.

Whatabout G0dSpeed, well if anyone had seen The Rock, you would know. In that show, Nicholas Cage's character name is Goodspeed & Sean Connery's character made a comment about his name which sounds like godspeed which incidentally meant success or properous journeying.

There you i managed to keep the reading going by giving information about my nick's origins. Till next time. Bye.
