Back to work for 1 week

Last of my 7 days MC today... Been resting quite a lot and I mean a lot...

How much you say? Well not much just at least 12 hours per day?

Tomorrow is back to work, I really wonder if I can take the siong duty after sleeping so much... really missed sleeping so long...

Oh well, next week wednesday is back to hospital...

Surgery Postponed

I had a late blood test taken last night.

Only this morning at the operating room did the doctor advised me against the surgery because of my cough. My blood has shown a slight increase in white blood cells which is likely due to the cough infection. He explained to me that during the surgery he is going to insert a breathing device down my throat and if I am coughing, I might cause the infection to spread to my lungs causing pneumonia and thus may die from it. That said my op date is now aug 4.

p.s. : was treated like practical test at the hospital by many trainee doctors, no hot nurses but trust me when I say some doctors and trainee doctors are quite good looking!

Surgery...

It's been bugging me for years. And tomorrow's the day.

I had a fracture back 6-7 years ago. Dad brought me to a Chinese Physician and within 2 weeks I was able to walk and jump again. So I thought the swelling on my foot will go away. Soon it became obvious that the swelling did not go away and a year later bumps started appearing on my leg. I decided last year I needed to check up on my leg. And since I was going to NS, might as well make use of the SAF care for Soldier policy.

I found out that I had a damaged bloodvein which needed to be removed or it most likely will cause leg ulcers when I'm old. This problem of mine also causes my leg to get numb so easily and also not allow me to stand for long hours.

Oh well, I'm heading to the hospital soon today to be admitted and do some more scan testings before my surgery tomorrow. I am not afraid to tell you guys that I am very afraid and kinda unprepared # Go ahead scold me for being a chicken sh*t # for what is going to happened during and after the operation. There will be stiches on my leg... so... well...

Bomb Threat!

There was a bomb threat on Saturday evening! Some idiot threw some newspaper about paya lebar air base going to be bomb. I was kinda activated to do more dutiies as even my life could be in danger. Was eating durain during duty when it happened... I guessed that explains why the next morning I ended up with sore throat.

# Note to self* When you eat heaty food make sure you sleep enough and drink more water #

Anyway, news may not have reported this so as not to frighten the citizens but according to my source. Police has caught a 40-year-old man strolling at Laguna Park with a parcel that says BOMB PLAB! The man claims that God had told him somebody is going to bomb PLAB. Last I heard the police are still investigating whether he is acting alone and also did look at the possibility of the man being not in the right mind. Haiz... it was quite a scare over the weekend.

July 4th

Today we celebrate Independence Day (in the US).
As for Singapore, it's youth day today. That kinda explains the young kids running about at orchard road.
It also happens to be the end of my 5 day holiday break. I can't wait for more such breaks!
Caught Fantastic Four with Anand today @ Orchard Cineleisure. I hear the woahs and the ahs already, why is it I always get premiere tix, well this time I did not win it. I went to queue for it on July 1st. There. It is probably the 2nd premiere. The first being on June 30th at Marina Square.

Be prepared for work soon...

last day being 21

I went shopping today, spent 4 hours outside and only ended up with just a polo shirt from topman. I really love shopping or rather window shopping but when it comes to deciding to buying clothes, I can't really make up a quick decision... good or bad?

Was at Jurong Point yesterday, no I did not go there to stalk the NTU girl(NTU is near jurong point). Was there because I did not collect my Tiger F.C Jersy on last Saturday so must travel down all the way to Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim just to collect it... Oh well, Thank god for my concession pass.

Less than an hour before I start putting my age as 22 officially. I have decided to not be so depressed in future, not to be sad, and go back to my happy-go-lucky days if there ever was such a happy-go-lucky me before #time to find it#. Journey's gonna be tougher as it is a cancerian trait to keep things to oneself... I will do my best not to show my sad self and hopefully bring brightness to everyone else around me!

Next came the DVDs which 0wned the vcds and try to act smart by having 2 groups, HD DVD and Blu Ray. 2 words BLU.RAY. Loves to reminisce the old days when A&W rootbear float was still around and KFC was still a restaurant complete with waiters serving you Kentucky Fried Chicken. The days where bus fares were 10 cents for students and pizza hut's lunch buffets. Moves/dances to the jumpy music of Ipod Ads and likes to laugh at the Hello I'm a Mac, Hello I'm a PC advertisements!
