The Last Post Of The Year!

As we weep for the funeral of 2005 (last few hours of the calendar year), let us try to cheer up on what the next 365 days has got to keep us going.

Movies to expect-

Mission Impossible III : I'm sure everyone who has caught King Kong has more or less seen the Trailer! Remember the music! Remember the name(Ethan Hunt)! Well it's all coming in May next year!

X-men 3 : The three-quel to the Mutant Superheroes! Remember Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, sneak peak of Pheonix & new additions like Psylocke, Beast & Angel

Pirates Of Carribean:Dead Men's Chest : Sequel to Pirates Of Carribean, Catch Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley & Johnny Depp as Captain Jack! Start singing yo ho yo ho! A Pirates life for me! A third Pirates of Carribean is in the works...

Superman Returns : Story that picks on what happen after Lois Lane & Clark Kent got seperated! Kar El left Earth and is now back to save EARTH! Tights are going to be back in Fashion!

Lady In The Water : M Night Shymalan's works promises to be a good one. This time talking about children bedtime stories!

Cars : Pixar's yearly works after Incredibles.

The Fountain : Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky help tell this love story which takes place across time and space. It looks a little weird, but the comic book ties of the film intrigue me.

V For Vendetta : Does the Wachowski Brothers ring a bell? Well they are the creators of The Matrix and they are producing this movie. As much as people seem to hate Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions. Ya all have to agree Matrix was good!

Da Vinci Code : The highly anticipated movie from the bestselling book from Dan Brown! Stars Tom Hanks!

World Of Football

Chelsea's Downfall in 2006! (ha ha ha)
Germany World Cup 2006!!!

Singapore Entertainment Industry

There's ongoing Star Idol, Superhost already which will run into 2006.
Add in Campus Superstar!
Singapore Idol II! And I hear the 2nd edition of Jue Dui Superstar is in the works!

My life

Besides turning 23, I sincerly do not know what else I am looking forward to except ORD! Most likely study after that! A Girlfriend will be good! Haha!

I'm doing something different from the rest of my other countdowns! By staying home to watch SOCCER! I know it sounds lame but judging from the afternoon heavy rain and me praying that it will rain later(how evil right!), I'm contented with EPL.

Actually I was hoping to be able to work at the Asia first Mini showhouse at Alexandar road but couldn't get the job. $14/hour dude! Haiz. Somemore so near my house. I can walk home! It's a Mini Countdown event where celebs and mini owners are invited only in conjuction with its opening on 1st January 2006! Too Bad for me!

Besides At about 7.15pm just now, I got an envelop from MTV with 2 complimentary tickets to Siloso Splash which is happening right now... To defend myself I gave away the tickets! I really just want to relax this new year's eve!

I see you guys next year!

Happy New Year
jh out!~

p.s : Working on 1st January 2006. Sounds like a bad start already?! Well at least the year number has changed to what I see as my Ord year! Yoho yo ho! A Pirate's life for me!

p.p.s : No.1 Song on perfect 10 2005 James Blunt - You're Beautiful! I couldn't agree more on this song topping the year! It is really a sad song!

The 7th & Final Episode

I just got back from not one but two movies! Saw 2 followed by special preview screening of King Kong from Toshiba who booked all of Cineleisure at 7.30pm coutersy of my best friend, Benjamin!

Peter Jackson has done a great job to this remake of Kong the King! From the eys of Naomi Watt one can feel loneliness in her and from the eyes to of King Kong, These 2 characters in the show let the audience empathise with them! Worth the full $9.50, throw in the popcorn and drink combo for it's very enjoyable during a 182mins show. Just be prepared to tahan the toilet calls!

As for my show, firstly I would like to thank Wang from Monsoon Bugis for cutting my hair. The make up unit from Mediacorp! Xue Qing, the stylist from Mediacorp whom if you do take note, her name was being thanked by many celebs when they received the award!

The outfit I wore on the last episode and like the most is the jacket! It's from ZARA and it's regularly worn by Tay Ping Hui according to Xue Qing lah. The T-shirt was from Calvin Klein Jeans! And lastly the Jeans just normal jeans. Oh yeah, the shoes was from the emart! Service shoes from the RSAF! Haha!

Now I would like to apologise to all those rooting for me to hug any of the girl for I didn't. Those who know me well would know I am really one dammed shy/coward guy! Some of my friends at the finals were secretly wishing I hug the one with the mini skirt so as to "expose" her! Naughty thoughts! A..nan Ahem ad.. Then there were some who say I could easily hug all 3! *imitates how the italians say what the fu*k!

Actually guys, I know about the 3 girls thing before the finals. The AP who was doing the Fann Wong with Sin Huey & Silver(Project Superstars) show now showing on Wednesdays Channel U 8.30pm was chatting with me one night almost more than a week before finals. And I mentioned to him to introduce me girls jokingly since he is the AP for the show Closet Affair. He replied me subtely and said that guess what?! They are introducing me girls! I immediately known what he meant because other finalist was telling me they were asked to dance/sing on the finals. And I was wondering what I will be doing. Besides, throughout the variety show whenever I was interviewed somehow one way or another I'm forced to say the ultimate reason why I want to slim down is to get a Girlfriend. NO LOH! I would like to clarify, If I do get a girlfriend, then fine! But if no, I'm happy to go shop for clothes!

Anyway, the 3 girls on stage on this episode were friends of the AP. Liew....! He was desperate cause he couldn't find any girls! He wanted to get Love Bites 2 (airing every wed channel U 8pm) contestants, but a lot of those who applied are actually attached, they are in it for the prize! Got $ loh! So they are out! The AP, Daniel, next wanted to get some part time actress for me, which I complained why not UP it, by getting full time actress! So we were discussing on the actress, We were supposed to have the same taste until the person that make the ultimate difference between my taste and his came in! I love Felicia Chin. And he thought she was nothing. So anyway after that, out of the blue one day, he msged me saying he might be able to get Felicia Chin! Gawd I was so happy with plenty of mixed feelings, he told me his other show with Fann planned to get Felicia on the show and he wanted to ask her to come for our finals as well! I waited for the confirmation but alas 2 days before the finals, he says meirenyu was busy with drama that week which was confirmed when I saw her dressed as a geisha at mediacorp! Haiz... My MeiRenYu! So Daniel got so desperate he got his friends. Liewz! But I can tell you loh, even if I do not know about the plan to pair me up with girls, I would 90% not hug them loh! Unless is FELICIA CHIN! I think I will sure hug her and won't let go! Haha! But alas, it did not happen! And the rest of the story, you seen it on TV... So I am really shy loh!

Btw, I got 4th in ranking...

p.s : Saw 2 a great follow up to part one although it is still not as cleverly plotted as part one, it is definitely just below from the way the movie linked up part one and two. Oh yes there will be blood! 4 out of 5 saws!
p.p.s : King Kong is a great remake from the old one as what my friend say. Extra running time for extra plots so that both people who watched the old version or new version would enjoyed it very much! 4.8 out of 5 King Kongs! Meanwhile Peter Jackson is nominated for best Director for King Kong in the upcoming Golden Globe Awards!

The 6th Episode

The 6th Episode AKA Do Not Believe What you see on TV!

You may call this an excuse for myself, but to believe my "excuse" or not, it is up to you.

So many of you have seen me eating oysters while on the program? Hell, I even went on buffets with some of you guys! Haha! Well, first thing first, I knew they were filming me @ long beach. I even have pictures taken with them during the "dinner" as proof! In fact, they were unlucky to have their candid camera got discovered by me... But I wasn't so blur to believe I was that "lucky" to be able to tag along to taste food delicacies in the first place! I knew something was wrong right after I was brought to the restarurant! And the fact that one of the long beach staff unintentionally saboed them by turning on the lights in the room where the camera was hidden before the food was even served was suai for them!

Anyway, I basically ate knowing full well I was being filmed... Why? Cos god! YOu know what kind of food is being served there? Seafood and it ain't cheap. There were Black Pepper Crab, Bamboo Mussells, Abalone, Geoduck(something I din't ate before! go google to see what it look like!) & last but not least oyster. And it's free! Seafood only high cholestrol but not fattening!

By the way, the camera crew that was filmed doing the set up of the candid camera was not even the same crew that got exposed haha! If you noticed on TV, they installed a mic below the table but they didn't play any conversation of mine... BU HAHAHA!

Last episode next week, I'm gonna somehow missed seeing myself on TV. I think... Most importantly I missed the Tv crew, the other contestants, Huang Hui, Chong Qing and my AP<-- you rawkz!

Stay tuned hor! Hopefully endorsements come pouring in for me! Long beach you want me since I am such a good actor pretending to not know the camera was there.

p.s : Aeon Flux 92 mins short movie, but basically quite a good plot, I for one have not watch the series on MTV but I think the movie has much explained basically what might the cartoon be. Worth a watch on weekdays when you pay $7. Otherwise, save the $2.50 on upcoming King Kong! 3 .1 out of 5 hot dresses. Did I mention Charliez Theron is looking yummingly fabulous in this show? I guessed I just did huh.

The Manhattan Fish Market

Woo! Wee!
Competition's over so I get to eat! However! Note to self: must learn how to control plus make it up the next day!

Was at the
Manhattan Fish Market Flagship shop at PS with Guan Wen, Vivi, Meiqi, Yeun Chyi. The place was great abeit too noisy due to the crowd. It reminds one of being at the pier with the tables and decoratings except for the sofas... Food was might I say a rip-off from Fish & Co. Slightly smaller portion, cheaper price and minor change among the platter.

The Deep Fried Fish Fillet, calamari, oysters and prawns serves with butter rice and chips!

The prawns were set on fire before being served to us. The fish is the catch of the day!

Platter for 2 which I shared with Yeun Chyi. Which we cannot finish!!!

The Bear that cares! Polo Ralph Lauren's Yearly Bear!

Yeun chyi's bear that cares from Polo Ralph Lauren Cost $29. Proceeds goes to the Breast Cancer Foundation!

p.s : Chicken Little was good gets 3.3 out of 5 The sky is falling! Entertaining, but not worth $9.50. $8 still can close eye. $7 will be ideal for a short 83 mins animation!

About

My Photo
Name:
Location: Singapore

Not boring not exciting, not lazy not hardworking, not handsome not ugly, not short not thin, not a bad guy not quite mommy's boy either. Regular Singaporean guy who like most guys probably get several different colours of the same shirt, t-shirt, berms, jeans once they fall in love with a particular design. Been through the era of cassette tapes of walkmans to discmans(remember the anti-shock technology) as well as MiniDisc(coming out at a bad time) which obviously lost to the emergence of mp3s and the CD to LD which saw LD losing out to VCDs. Next came the DVDs which 0wned the vcds and try to act smart by having 2 groups, HD DVD and Blu Ray. 2 words BLU.RAY. Loves to reminisce the old days when A&W rootbear float was still around and KFC was still a restaurant complete with waiters serving you Kentucky Fried Chicken. The days where bus fares were 10 cents for students and pizza hut's lunch buffets. Moves/dances to the jumpy music of Ipod Ads and likes to laugh at the Hello I'm a Mac, Hello I'm a PC advertisements!
