So tired.

So tired from playing NFS:Most Wanted. Trying to catch up wth Charmed showing in US. Keeping up to date with The O.C., Desperate Housewives & LOST! Which also explains why I didn't blog for the past 6 days...

Did a first over weekend last week. Went to have dinner at Kublia Khan which is not worth it in my own opinion even though they charges $24++ to NSF oh and I forgot to mention only ARMED FORCES people with an SAF11B not a SCDF 11B. Haha. Sorry Anand... After Dinner, we went to PS and checked out the showtimes for any show that we might consider watching... alas, there wasn't any... a suggestion came out that we buy VCDs/DVDs to watch at someone house. Weiliang's house was decided and we bought a few titles. Reaching his place at 11pm we watch 2 movies Saw & Saw 2 until 3.30am before we all head to the carpark to find 3 cars with Fines of $30 each!!! It was a first for our group and we think that it is cheaper this way of course without the fines that is...

p.s : Should I invest in a Mahjong table? If yes, who would come? can i easily find 3 other players? ponder* ponder*

My longest official break yet

Woohoo... I know I have been MIA for the past few weeks. I confess... I was procrastinating. So anyhow how you guys been?

Oh about the title... Heehee. As of today I am on OFF until Feb 1st Returning to work on Feb 2nd! Long Long break! Woohoo! Spirits are high man!

I have been shopping for my Chinese New Year clothings since the Post Christmas sale begin. So much things to buy so little moolah! To make things even better. The Straits Times today reported that GAP will be on our shores later this year! HURRAH! And in 2007 it's yellow in colour, ah meng loves it, some eat it with ice cream, YES , you guess right! Banana Republic!!! I can't wait. There was also some news about giving bonus $$$ to us active nsmen and those who have ROD. Such things really point to an election coming soon. I just hope the government will give moi more moolah!

Ok ok time's up! time to watch my LOST season 2. Hopefully this long break can kickstart back my blogging.

p.s : Almost a week too late but I caught Memoirs Of A Geisha and my my I must say the life of a geisha really widen my knowledge. Ziyi Zhang's character of Sayuri is such an innocent-just-working-towards-the-man-she-loves-with-those-water-eyes-of-hers. Director Rob Marshall even did an excellent job in casting a young girl who really looks like Miss Zhang! Definite must watch unless you hate chinese trying to act japanese. Memoirs Of A Geisha gets 4.2 out of 5 miyuagi... heehee...

The adverts out...

As I quote my friend, I am everywhere... but I disagree though... An example of everywhere would be Macdonald's new Fan-tastic burger...

Anyway, something tells me this month is going to pass by really really fast with all the Public Holidays/ Long weekends(if you work 5 day week) & also preparing to welcome the year of the Dog!

I went to watch Elizabethtown today, it is Directo Cameron Crowe's follow up to Vanilla Sky. Don't worry it has nothing to do with Vanilla Sky. The show is about Drew Baylor whose shoe invention costs his company almost $10billion and I quote what Orlando Bloom's character say which is in fact "A LOT OF MILLIONS!" He was on the verge of commiting suicide due to his failure but was stopped by a phone call from his family about his father's death. Thus he began his journey back to Elizabethtown to bury his father with intentions of killing himself once he does his part as a Son. Kristen Durnst's character is the messenger of love/flight attendant who met Drew on the plane on the way to Kentucky, Louisville. The two of them shared a chemistry they never felt before and the rest I rather you go watch the show yourself. Yes I know you are cursing me now... The soundtracks on this movie is great! Watching the show really makes me want to take a roadtrip myself except that I do not have a car.

p.s : Cameron Crowe specially wrote Drew Baylor with intentions of getting Orlando Bloom to play him. So is Kristen Durnst. You could say it's a well cast role! 4 out of 5 "They/Them" or those who collectively agree together!

About

My Photo
Name:
Location: Singapore

Not boring not exciting, not lazy not hardworking, not handsome not ugly, not short not thin, not a bad guy not quite mommy's boy either. Regular Singaporean guy who like most guys probably get several different colours of the same shirt, t-shirt, berms, jeans once they fall in love with a particular design. Been through the era of cassette tapes of walkmans to discmans(remember the anti-shock technology) as well as MiniDisc(coming out at a bad time) which obviously lost to the emergence of mp3s and the CD to LD which saw LD losing out to VCDs. Next came the DVDs which 0wned the vcds and try to act smart by having 2 groups, HD DVD and Blu Ray. 2 words BLU.RAY. Loves to reminisce the old days when A&W rootbear float was still around and KFC was still a restaurant complete with waiters serving you Kentucky Fried Chicken. The days where bus fares were 10 cents for students and pizza hut's lunch buffets. Moves/dances to the jumpy music of Ipod Ads and likes to laugh at the Hello I'm a Mac, Hello I'm a PC advertisements!
