As we about to hit the middle of the year 2005, which fyi I am very excited due to various reasons. Some of which are, My birthday is in the middle of the year like July... Will it be 22 years single and counting or otherwise?
When it hits July, it almost marks my 1 year NS life.
Hey best still, by the time we hit mid year, 2005 is half gone!
What's more exciting is if you are a movie person, movies movies movies, you will love this period as local cinemas will begin to screen concurrently with US what americans called summer blockbusters


Here's a look at the first half (up till june) movies that are slated as BLOCKBUSTERS!

House Of Wax (Paris Hilton first movie as a lead actress)
Sin City ( The movie film per se as Sky Captain and the world of tomorrow except that it is much better not only cause it boasts a star-studded cast but because it's plot line is going to so rock your movie experience)
XXX 2 : The Next Level (Ice Cube replaces Vin Diesel)
War Of The Worlds (Tom Cruise the guy whose birthday is near mine and also one of my fav. actor)
Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge Of The Sith (The Darkest episode of the SAGA!)
Kingdom Of Heaven (Why oh why does Orlando Bloom keep acting in flims that has only swords or arrows all except for Black Hawk Down where he is an EXTRA)
Mr & Mrs Smith (They say this movie is the one that causes the breakup between possibly the most gorgeous couple)
Batman Begins (3rd Comic book movie so far after Elektra & Constatine and many more to come... seems that Comic Movies are the rage now)
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy ( The guide you need should earth gets destroyed and you are only left with the Galaxy)
Madagascar (From the creators of Shrek, watch this while we await Shrek 3 & 4 currently in the works!)
The Interpreter (Nicole Kidman, one of my favourite actress, seems like a good storyline for this show)

You might have notice for the pass few weeks, my countdown timer was days till ????

The ???? in question is definitely not my relationship cos I dun have any! Evident by the number of petitions asking me to get a girlfriend. Instead, it's all about this webpage! Yuppedy yup! My Blog is Officially One year Old!


Gone through many changes it has, like me for example ageing by a year. Still I managed to retain its Orangey appearance and yes may I emphasized one more time I am single...


I read somewhere that people who are single usually feel extremely lonely during the months of February and March otherwise the Spring period... This is of course has nothing to do with Valentine's Day falling in February 14 but as Spring is always known to be a new beginning, many people felt that if you stayed alone throughout spring it meant throughout the year you SHALL be alone... kinda scary ain't it. That's why many people feel lonely or long to be loved during this period. Maybe a pretty psychology from the Aeromedical Centre from RSAF can enlightened me on this issue?

With that, my inherent gifts of optimism and pessimism shall continue to battle into whether I believe in that article I read or continue in search for someone!

You guys must be wondering whatever happened to me? (that is if anyone cared...) since I hasn't like update my blog for almost 2 weeks.


Well, as my title has suggested the answer I will not be explaining further. What I will like to explain or rather yak about is my new unit - Air Force School.

First let me tell you about the schedule, there are basically 2 shifts. Shift A & B. No use knowing which shift I am in as both shifts are the same. (fyi I'm in shift B.)

My duty is a Mount 1 day Dismount 1 day. In the army Mounting means to work and dismounting vice versa. Now most people will immediately claim that good what and some might add on slack right at Air Force School.

Let the truth be known, indeed Air Force School is quite slack in terms of doing duty but... in terms of the number of hours of rest is not slack at all on a normal working day. (psst.. weekends & public holidays are super slack!!!) Good that I work up 4 days and 3 days alternativetly every week.


But do realise that whenever I mount I have to report @ 8am and dismount next day 8am. Take for example 13th March 2005 I report to work at 8am. on 14th March 2005 I finished work and immediately went home to sleep for about 2-3hours cos it is inevitable to missed the morning wee hours shift. Then if I'm lucky I get to have friends to go out with me and have fun in the afternoon and den dinner. At about 9pm is my cue to go home and prepare formy next day 15th March 2005 8am reporting duty. There? Shiok? I dun see it that way. But as always the optimist in me will keep telling me that my NS days will passed by fast and that I just worked like 4 days a week and then 3 days the next week.


And now the perks, every public holiday I work I get 1 day off, and every 2 sundays I work I earned another day. It is also inevitable that a month has at least 4 sundays and thus every month I will earn at least one off pass!


Finally listen to this, If I do take off pass, it meant a 3 day break for me! Yes just one off pass! why? cos i only need to take off pass when my shift is on duty!!!


12 weeks of Field Defence Course which is sort of like an enhanced package out of sispec with GPMG range, LAW & M203 Range, Fighting In Built-Up Area(ASLC), section live firing(BSLC), platoon live firing(ASLC), Protection Of Installations(OCS), Exercise Earthworm(same as exercise Spade in OCS) has finally come to an end. Memories of what Platoon 1 12th batch FDC has gone through will never be forgotten! I will missed my all my section mates who are mainly in Paya Lebar Air Base just next door of Air Force School.

friends of mine might not know but I like to walk along orchard or in the town area
doing absolutely nothing except while daydreaming/thinking/reflecting...
It's kind of just like in the movies where you see the lead actor or actress walk among the people on the streets
after being dealt a blow or lose a job or whatever negative things that might have hit them.
This song speaks to me in a way which I walk,
there may be people on the streets but really to me as long as I walk alone I feel as if the streets are empty.
