Semester 1 Ends

*playing Cupid's Choke hold By Gym Class Heroes (feat. Patrick Stump)

My study semester is officially ending this coming week. Followed closely by a study break and then Exam period will commence. My assignments 2 were thankfully rushed in on time last friday... which was followed with a mahjong session. Woohoo! Went to catch Pirates Of The Carribean : At World's End on saturday thanks to qianhui who had organise the dinner and movie watching as I was too busy and tired to plan anything...

After the movie there were two options, Texas Hold'em or Chill. We decided on the latter as Kelly and her friend, Weishu would probably not be so keen on gambling dens... haha. We headed towards TCC at selegie which was crowded and ended up at Mr Bean across the road. While pondering on our plans to go genting admist the drink ordering. I casually mentioned KTV and lo and behold, we headed to kbox at selegie. After deciding that it was too expensive, we then proceed to party world opposite Meritus Mandarin. There we sang till 3am and extended till 4am...

Come to think of it, it was our KTV session as a group! Wow...

p.s : Pirates Of The Carribean : At World's End gets 4.6 out of 5 pirates from me. It sort of had a *spoilers* sad ending *spoilers* though.
p.p.s : For those who haven't caught the show, remember to stay until after the credits.
p.p.p.s : & for the benefit of those who have caught the show and are unwilling to fork out money to watch it again or sit through almost 3 hours of show again for the about 1 minute scene at the end... highlight from this point on.... Elizabeth Swann waits with her son at the beach for that one day that the captain of the flying dutchman, Will Turner to come on shore. Ends

Spiderman

*playing Give It To Me By Timbaland feat. Nelly Furtado & Justin Timberlake

Am watching spiderman 2 now and started to compare how this part 2 compare to part 3.
Part 2 is definitely much more funnier with slapstick lines and qualifies more for a family entertainment show. This is definitely in tune with the spiderman being more in tune with all the children. Part 3 however has darker version not just the black suit which was cool I must say, Venom being potrayed so horrifying it makes part 3 feels somewhat like a horror movie when Eddie Brock turned Venom. The thing that both shows have in common was the otherwise not important "musical" part where in part 2 peter parker after giving up his identity as spiderman lives the daily life of an average student and in part 3 peter parker after giving in to his dark side prances around flirtingly with any random women he sees.

On a side note, I have officially gotten my class 5. Hooray! Now let's start the final 2 assignment push!~

p.s : Next gets 2.9 out of 5 minutes into the future for a weak ending... Still worth a watch though mainly because of the bootylicious jessical biel~

Featured...

*playing Falling Star by Jet

I just cleared one my assignment2 out of 4 units. 3 more to go... Next few weeks going to burn the night away clearing them...
Manchester United are now 9 times champions and I'm really proud of them although my prediction of a treble did not happen but I reckon it was the closest since 1999 and it really was tough to get to the top this season. Only one more Cup this season for manchester united and chelsea to play for. I'm rooting for my team for the double!

Special Feature below (read: This is not an advertorial, I just feel like posting this to thank the people at newurbanmale.com for picking me as the winner)

p.s : 200 pounds Beauty gets 3 out of 5 stars for using recycled fat suits from that andy lau and sammi cheng FAT movie. Still nice to see an underdog story.

Threequel summer

*playing Want You To Know By The Freelance Hellraisers

The summer where all the threequels has begun... and leading the pack is spiderman 3.
I highly recommend you to watch this movie. Running on a duration of 140minutes. It has so much action that it will blow your mind away!

Next up on the sequelish and threequelish movies are 28 weeks later, Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End (read: good old "singapore" is featured), Shrek the Third, Oceans 13, Fantastic 4: Rise of the silver surfer, Bourne Ultimanium, Rush Hour 3, Evan Almighty and many others. And who knows next next summer we might get to see Transformers 2?

On that note, It was hell of a good labour day for me to relax before the rushing of assignments 2 begin and yes its not helping when all my friends from NUS NTU are holidaying now while my holiday only begins from June 21st not to mention the summer blockbusters heading our way.

p.s : Spiderman 3 deserves 3.6 out of 5 tingling spiders. (the plot may be a little draggy but the action and the villians makes up for it)

About

Name:

Not boring not exciting, not lazy not hardworking, not handsome not ugly, not short not thin, not a bad guy not quite mommy's boy either. Regular Singaporean guy who like most guys probably get several different colours of the same shirt, t-shirt, berms, jeans once they fall in love with a particular design. Been through the era of cassette tapes of walkmans to discmans(remember the anti-shock technology) as well as MiniDisc(coming out at a bad time) which obviously lost to the emergence of mp3s and the CD to LD which saw LD losing out to VCDs. Next came the DVDs which 0wned the vcds and try to act smart by having 2 groups, HD DVD and Blu Ray. 2 words BLU.RAY. Loves to reminisce the old days when A&W rootbear float was still around and KFC was still a restaurant complete with waiters serving you Kentucky Fried Chicken. The days where bus fares were 10 cents for students and pizza hut's lunch buffets. Moves/dances to the jumpy music of Ipod Ads and likes to laugh at the Hello I'm a Mac, Hello I'm a PC advertisements!
