GSS Aftermath

I just checked on my bills I signed throughout the Great Singapore Sale and guess what?
I spent a total of $1696.03
I seriously wonder where the hell I got so much money...
Above amount has not include my NETs transaction as well.
Which is about $200.

Just came back from my first Aikido Training since June 2004.
Man... I suspect my body will ache when I wake up tomorrow. It was a good training with 2 eye candys as well! I'm definitely going back... haha
Alas, due to my absence of 2 years. I have to wait for my sensei to reinstate me rank before I can go for my next grading 2nd kyu Black Belt!
Oh and I can't pay NYP fees anymore... haiz... which works up to about $45 a month if you count in weapons classes fees and various membership fees. Need to find a part time job if I can to support this hobby of mine man. Any lobangs?

p.s : In case you are wondering, yes there is eye candy now at Tanglin CC but I very much still hope to get to know F and the current Eye candy I targetted. But how ah, go aikido is not to chase girls one leh. It defeats my purpose per se going to church to check out the girls. How guys? Any ideas to help me get to know this current eye candy? #note: I know, I may sound like I can just fall in love anytime but trust me as I am just looking for the precious... ONE.
p.p.s : I hope my sensei doesn't read this blog. Probably get kicked out & banned from the DOJO.

The Beginning:Clearing Offs & Leaves

Yes, I am currently about 3 months away to my pink I/C. Just started my first week of lesson. And.I.Have.No.Comments.Yet.

I know many of you are envying me. But I kinda thought I do deserve it by slogging 24hours duty on almost every weekend and public holidays. And the out of 10 of us from the same ORD period only 4 of us are allowed to go off for studies. The rest are stuck till at least late August man...Ya. They clearly deserve more than me.

p.p.s : Dead Man's Chest is great to me however what my peers say. I still think it is worth watching. 3.9 out of 5 Pirates
p.p.p.s : When you are grown up, sometimes you wear stretchy pants! Haha. Nacho Libre failed to lived up to the School Of Rock. But Jack Black fans should give this a go. 3.1 out of 5 Nachos.

Down the mountain or brokeback?

Im still pinning for F... Very infatuated with her. Memories of her seemed hard to erase but then again so did every other girl that I was really deeply infatuated with.

One of my colleagues likened my infatuationess period like a hermit living in a mountain. Every time I see a girl I like it's as if the hermit has come out of the cave for a while and then go back the cave and medidate for the next 300+ days!

I can't help but think it's kinda true.
Life... it blows...

Also looked out for 2007 where Pirates Of The Carribean : At World's End ( yes, they film these 2 sequels together) opens! Chow Yun Fatt is said to be the villian! Finally a real asian who really does have a connection to Singapore. # His wifey! #

UberBurger

Imagine you were at this new burger joint in Singapore.
It has this sunken bar, black vinyl booth seats and red 1960s Robin Day plastic school chairs.
Where it's famous for it's 1-0-1 Burger which ironically cost $101.
One customer even claim eating that $101 burger it was better than sex.
You ordered the mid-range burgers with your friends for your post birthday celebration.
The burgers arrived with Rocket salads as the side.
The toilets are interestingly red with green frog soap dispenser and a flying pig tap.
You begin eating your 200g beef sirloin burger, when you hear "hunger" "starving children" over the speakers
Your friends began to wonder, looking up from their lamb burger ($24), diced chicken breast burger, bockwurst sausage hotdog and the steak tartare burger ($29). They sighted the BBC logo on the right hand corner of the TV with commentary so loud it was impossible to miss unless you are deaf.
Your friends and you then look at the food and then look at each other. You suddenly don't feel like eating.
You ask for more ice water refill, not once, not twice, not even trice, it was at least five times. Each staff reacted differently, one even look like he was going to pick a fight with the man of the dinner(yours truly). Others acknowledged and proceeded to forget the very next moment.
Looking around, you see the place is not really packed, the staff seemed busy yet not so.
Finally after 10 mins of watching the hungry african children, the DVD of michael jackson's hit song "WE ARE THE WORLD" started playing.
With the many SAMSUNG LCD FLAT SCREEN TV they have in the UberBurger restaurant. It's not that hard to IMAGINE.

p.s : Re-Cycle from the brothers which brought us The Eye and it's sequels comes up with a new movie. Starring Li Sinjie the pretty one, it tells us about a writer who experiences the eerie stuff she wrote about. It teaches us some moral values as it potrays a space where "things" abandoned are found. 3.2 out of 5 EYES
p.p.s : I am very disappointed from the poor service I was rendered during my post birthday dinner celebration with my poly friends on the 8th July 2006! They don't deserve my patronization anytime soon.
p.p.p.s : OMG 6mins and ITALY is down via a PENALTY. Come on ITALY!!!

My Birthday today

Double post today since it's my birthday...
Actually... cos there is no Live World Cup match showing today. My favourite England has gone out. Hoorah to France for kicking Brazil's ass. I seriously think Portugal can now win the World Cup after missing out on the Euro 2004 to underdogs Grece. Portugal is now the tournament top 4 underdogs.

Anyway I digress. The reason why I want to blog again tonight is because it has been a very very long time. A year since I actually felt a liking to someone I see! Besides Felicia Chin of course! More than a year ago was a girl who was doing her 3rd year attachment of computer engineering from NTU. This time round on my birthday which I celebrated with a few of my primary school friends today. We went for bowling at katong shopping centre after our Dim Sum at Dragongate Restaurant at Harbourfront! (#note to self: It sux!) Anywho, the lane beside ours had 2 girls and a guy who were in OSIM black tees(the OSIM trialthon was today).

At first I suspected they were from Uni due to the fbt shorts the girls were wearing. (#note: Ok I know! I stereotyped!) However the guy don't look like he been through NS. So I concluded they are most likely JC students or Poly (more likly JC). Anyway this girl whose screen name on the bowler frames:"F" caught my attention. And somehow I like her. No it wasn't love at first sight! I actually passed by them on the way to get tibits for bowling at first and didn't even care for a second look. But whilst using the lane beside them, I can't help but notice her and kept stealing glances at her. Sometimes I thought I saw her smiling at me or I could be daydreaming... but well I guess in that instance, only I care. I was damm on form(using my secret self taught move) during the bowling game like a male peacock spreading it's feathers per se. And she and her friends laughed at my group entics. Many times, she sat beside me as I was sitting on the computer terminal. And I had an itch to ask her for her name and number! But alas! OH dear god! If only I could turn back time now... I would gladly say to her, "hey hi, it's my Birthday today and I would really like to know you!"

All is LOST once she left... my bowling score from 130++ in the first game dropped to 69... in the second. And that is when I informed my friends that I liked the girl. Now I don't often tell them who I like therefore they thought I was joking but during my second game where I was heading to score 69. They begin to believe what I say. And reprimanded me for not telling them, they would have "pushed" me. Which I of course know and therefore did not inform them before. As I am typing this I am seriously mentally reviewing all sorts of scenarios whereby if she had stayed on for a few more games, my courage would probably have grown big enough for me to ask her. Or if I had asked her just now, I could have been talking to her on the phone now... I am also reprimanding myself for being so not proactive. ARGH! If only I could... My friends even labeled me "fa hua ci" just now or Lovesick. Another haiz... and more haiz until I see her again or find someone like her...

p.p.s : Thank You For Smoking is quite a witty comedy that allows you to learn a thing or two. Go catch it smokers & non smokers! I suspect this film is in line with the July 1st Coffee Shop/Hawker Centre/Fastfood Outlets/Cafes smoking regulations. 3.4 out of 5 tobacco although no characters is shown smoking in the show.

Next came the DVDs which 0wned the vcds and try to act smart by having 2 groups, HD DVD and Blu Ray. 2 words BLU.RAY. Loves to reminisce the old days when A&W rootbear float was still around and KFC was still a restaurant complete with waiters serving you Kentucky Fried Chicken. The days where bus fares were 10 cents for students and pizza hut's lunch buffets. Moves/dances to the jumpy music of Ipod Ads and likes to laugh at the Hello I'm a Mac, Hello I'm a PC advertisements!
