Sick...

Yes, you guys heard me right, I am sick officially. Got Medical leave of work on Monday. Actually I have been sick since Friday but I thought I could get it over thru the sea cocunut cough mixture. Anyway, fact is I still felt sick.

Went to one of my primary school friend's house, it is another post birthday celebration gathering for one of us. Funny thing is my friend who invited us to his place wasn't at home. He had told his grandma to open the door for us. His parents are at Bangkok. How nice to have such a friend who invite friends over to his place and he's not even home to be host haha. It's like loaning his chalet to us or something. We were allowed to use any stuff from his 3 fridges and cook ourselves as his maid was out. And so we created a mess. Because we Primary schoolmates had not really played mahjongtogether before and my friend's place don't happen to have any. Our friend who was on his way back ask one of us to buy the table and mahjong set @ $38 (table) and $45 (mahjong set), as he thought that he should have a set at home. It was fantastic. At about 3am in the morning, my friend who belongs to the millitary intelligence department finally could book out since being at Tekong since Thursday evening. Guess what is the reward that they get? A day off. How lame and asking the people to book out at 2am without giving them cab fare resulting to most of the people staying in camp. Besides my friend normal working days is 8-5 lohz and saturday is half day only, friend was at tekong from Thursday evening till Sunday Evening and all he got was 1 day off. Wow should he really thank the government or the 3 stupid robbers who by the way had no idea that Tekong was a Singapore military island for that one day off? Anywho since we are quite free and bored, we went to fetch him over straight. On the way back, bought some supper for the girls back in the house den after supper went back straight to mahjong. We play $0.10 only played till 6am before we decided it was time to go home to rest. FYI, I lost $1.60.

Managed to reach home at 7am and had a quick shower before sleeping. Had a good catching up with Zhou Gong from dreamland before waking up to realise it was near 3pm. I then had a light lunch before heading to the clinic to get my common cold medicine and of course an M/C. Anyway went back home to watch Love is Beautiful last episode on Channel U @ 7pm. That show made me realise something. Would probably talk about it under Shoutout soon... Went on to surf net until now before i started blogging. Oh yeah thanks to clarence who linked me up saying that my News is better than my Blog. I take it as a compliment then because Blogging is really like my diary and actually I kinda find my life quite boring and uninteresting nowadays probably due to the fact that I need to go NS soon but yes life seriously doesn't seem to be of interest anymore. My only interest now is to enjoy all the time I can with my friends. Besides I like talking about current affairs, entertainment or not because I love all these compare to uninteresting life blogging.

Would probably try to see how can I make my blog more interesting than my news or Shoutout as it has now been renamed. Oh yeah, hooray! I've decided to join my friends in poly at Redang in May after much comtemplating. Really looking forward to it guys!~

Been through the era of cassette tapes of walkmans to discmans(remember the anti-shock technology) as well as MiniDisc(coming out at a bad time) which obviously lost to the emergence of mp3s and the CD to LD which saw LD losing out to VCDs. Next came the DVDs which 0wned the vcds and try to act smart by having 2 groups, HD DVD and Blu Ray. 2 words BLU.RAY. Loves to reminisce the old days when A&W rootbear float was still around and KFC was still a restaurant complete with waiters serving you Kentucky Fried Chicken. The days where bus fares were 10 cents for students and pizza hut's lunch buffets. Moves/dances to the jumpy music of Ipod Ads and likes to laugh at the Hello I'm a Mac, Hello I'm a PC advertisements!
