The Next Chapter

As you all may have already know by now, History was made about 4 hours ago, yes Singapore's 3rd Prime Minister is "born". As we bid farewell to Mr Goh who have serve as Prime Minister for 14 years, here comes Lee Hsien Loong who I would definitely like to placed all my assets under my name that he will serve almost as long as his dad(who serve 25 years), clearly evident by seeing how the 2 DPM that he chose were really quite old... I mean let's see you have 2 DPM that are as old or maybe slightly younger than you, You think after you serve a 10 year term, the 2 DPM you have now will be as old as you and rather not have so much responsibility as you now are going to undertake. Speaking of his dad, our dear old Mr Lee Kuan Yew, his title from Senior Minister may have been changed to Minister Mentor but his chinese version still remains the same, for the benefit of those who may not have a clue as to what I am saying, his title in chinese is still as before "Li Zhi Zhen", Mr Goh's title is now "Wu Zhi Zhen" the first verb meaning their surname. As some people including me are really wondering exactly what is the difference between the Minister Mentor and Senior Minister duties because based on the chinese version both are just to advice on matters. As much as I respect Mr Lee Kuan Yew, I think he is wasting taxpayers' money by taking on a new title.

The papers today may have been full of information or rather a background outlook of our new Prime Minister which you would really suspect whether if it was a "perfectly timed" articulation for the big "Swearing In of the Prime Minister & His Cabinet". However, it is not the same for foreign papers, while Singapore's papers are feeding the citizens with history and character of Mr Lee Hsien Loong, foreign papers are displaying, "New Bottle, Old Wine" which means New Goverment, Old Faces. Indeed, Mr Lee Hsien Loong has promoted 3 Acting Ministers to Full Minister Duty which by the way everyone knew it was inevitable given the people's support for these 3 acting Ministers and may I add a job well done for their time as Acting Ministers, foreign papers are "blasting" Mr Lee at just resuffling the Old Horses of the cabinet. OH!!! May I join my sister's hatred for BG George Yeo who is now the current Foreign Minister, the reason why we hate him because when he was minister for trade, he proposed that singapore's workforce or rather office hours to be make into 24 Hours!!! Is he mad? Oh yes and Mr Mah Bow Tan, who held on to his post of National Development(no wonder I don't see any development!) He's there because he has been with Mr Lee Hsien Loong for a long time.

As before, I would like to remind myself and others who support my views that only time will tell whether Starhub & Singtel are really affilated, Ho Ching(PM Lee Hsien Loong's wife) is really the 2nd richest woman in Singapore, Mrs Lee Kuan Yew being the richest woman of course having shares in Temasek Holdings, SIA not to mentioned owning TIBS. May I also add, the big boss of Singtel is Mr Lee Hsien Yang(brother of Lee Hsien Loong?) oops... I fear people might think I am not a patriotic but the truth is I am patriotic but just that as you can see all the richest seems to be heading towards the Lee family because they apparently control or rather totally owned Singapore since Mr Lee Kuan Yew's leadership. I wonder how the rest of the people whose family name happens to be Lee but are not as influential as the LKY family. #pun intended# And why is it that when you have a rich father such as Lee Kuan Yew, you are still able to go on a President Scholarship? Oh yeah! I remembered, because a scholarship is different from a bursary, scholarship is for smart people bursaries are for people like me, needing financial help and is above average? I propose that if a person is really smart & his dad is rich, no scholarships granted, scholarship shall be passed to the next eglible smart person who was denied scholarship and is really poor because he just lack a few more brians.

ponder ponder.....

PS: Catwoman sucks big time...they may have lots of cats in the show, I shall only give it 1.5 cats out of 5
PPS: Elements required for a shitty movie, too much CGI that even when a person holding a normal whip have to be made in CG freaking I!!!
PPPS: btw the 1.5 cats are given because of Halle Berry, issit me or do people who get oscar before will start planning their downfall?

Been through the era of cassette tapes of walkmans to discmans(remember the anti-shock technology) as well as MiniDisc(coming out at a bad time) which obviously lost to the emergence of mp3s and the CD to LD which saw LD losing out to VCDs. Next came the DVDs which 0wned the vcds and try to act smart by having 2 groups, HD DVD and Blu Ray. 2 words BLU.RAY. Loves to reminisce the old days when A&W rootbear float was still around and KFC was still a restaurant complete with waiters serving you Kentucky Fried Chicken. The days where bus fares were 10 cents for students and pizza hut's lunch buffets. Moves/dances to the jumpy music of Ipod Ads and likes to laugh at the Hello I'm a Mac, Hello I'm a PC advertisements!
